We have reopened our building for regular services

While we are still at Alert Level 2, we need to follow these health and safety guidelines to keep everyone safe.

  1. We can have up to 100 people at church at any one time.

  2. The duration of Saturday services will be no longer than 2 hours (10am-12pm).

  3. Shared lunches, foot washing and communion services will be on hold until further notice.

  4. All church hymn books and pew Bibles have been removed until it is safe to use them again.

  5. The entrance to the church auditorium has an entry and exit lane to meet physical distancing requirements.

  6. Everyone must register each time they enter the building. To stop the spread of COVID-19, we need to trace the contacts of anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19. Recording people’s movements helps us to do this quickly and efficiently.
    -  A contact tracing register will be used to record everyone who enters the church building.
    -  Alternatively, you can download the NZ COVID tracer app on your electronic device and scan your device app against the church QR code poster. The app keeps track of where you have scanned and where you have been.
    -  Your personal information on the register will be shared only with the Ministry of Health or District Health Boards on request and will not be used for any other purposes. These records will be destroyed after 2 months.

  7. Cleaning of all common touch surfaces has been completed. These will be cleaned before and after each gathering.

  8. Furniture in the church has been rearranged to accommodate the physical distancing requirements.

  9. People must sit two chair spaces apart from each other unless in the same bubble.

  10. The water cooler is out of service so please bring your own water bottle.

  11. Sanitiser will be made available for use.

  12. If carpooling with others outside of your bubble, please following appropriate distancing (front seat/back seat) and keep common touch surfaces like door handles regularly cleaned.

  13. COVID-19 signage has been put up around the building to remind us about how we can keep ourselves and each other safe.
